Thrift Tip | One

I’ve had so many of you reach out to me here recently for tips and tricks on making the most of your thrift store run. While I wish I could just load you all up in my car and teach you “The ways of the dig”, it just makes more sense for me to leave little nuggets of inspirational info here so you can refer back to them when needed.

THRIFT TIP ONE | TOUCH EVERYTHING.

Yeah I know, thrift shops are super sketch and 9/10 times you WILL leave you smelling way worse than when you came in, BUT if you take the time to touch everything on the rack I’m of the opinion that you will have a much higher probability of leaving the store with a real treasure in hand – so it’s worth the staaank. If your stores are anything like the ones I frequent, the racks are packed and many times I have found really good stuff hiding in between the ratty T-shirts. I like to start by pushing all of the clothes to one side so that I can quickly and efficiently browse every item. If you don’t have the time to look through the entire store, then just pop in and tackle a certain section. If you you are needing some tops, then just use the “touch everything philosophy” on those racks while just casually skimming over any other sections you might feel the need to check out.

It’s not much but I hope this first little tip helps you out on your next thrifting adventure.
